From August 12 to 15, the 2025 China International Paper Technology Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as “CIPTE”) was successfully held in Shanghai. Hosted by the China Paper Association, China Technical Association of Paper Industry, and China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute Co., Ltd. (below referred to as “CNPPRI”), and organized by China Pulp and Paper Magazines Publisher, this event received strong support and extensive attention from industry peers. Senior managers, suppliers, purchasers, distributors, agents, technical personnel from upstream and downstream industrial chain enterprises in forestry, pulping and papermaking, equipment manufacturing and automation, chemicals, packaging and printing, as well as industry media from 64 countries and regions, gathered in Shanghai to jointly build a green intelligent chain and embark on a new-quality future.

CIPTE Kicks Off a New Chapter and Guests Tour Pavilions to Explore Cutting-Edge Developments
Leaders and guests attended the opening ceremony and jointly inaugurated the 2025 CIPTE, including leaders from the host: Zhao Guo'ang, General Manager of Sinolight Corporation Ltd.; Zhao Wei, President of the China Paper Association; Cao Chunyu, President of the China Technical Association of Paper Industry; Sun Bo, Vice General Manager of Sinolight Corporation Ltd. and Chairwoman of CNPPRI; Tian Chao, General Manager of CNPPRI; Ying Guangdong, Vice General Manager and Chief Engineer of Shandong Sun Holdings Group Co., Ltd.; And experts from paper industry authoritative associations and entrepreneurs from large companies: Cao Zhenlei, Former President of the China Technical Association of Paper Industry; Zhai Jingli, Vice President of Deputy CEO of Sinar Mas Group-APP; and Martin Zahel, Director of the Head of Business Division Fibres & Compositess at the Institut für Fasern & Papier gGmbH (PTS).

Gathering of Innovative Achievements to Promote Industrial Upgrading
2025 CIPTE covered an area of 25,000 square meters, with over 400 exhibitors and attracting more than 30,000 domestic and foreign visitors for on-site visits and negotiations. The exhibits spanned eight categories, covering multiple dimensions such as technologies, products, and markets across upstream and downstream sectors including forestry, pulping and papermaking, printing, and packaging. 2025 CIPTE received an enthusiastic response, with many exhibitors achieving record-high transaction volumes. Well-known papermaking equipment suppliers such as Voith, Valmet, Andritz, Siemens Energy, Huazhang Technology, Leizhan, FJLIME, Kadant, SLMC, Dazhi Paper Machinery, Lenor, and Yunda, as well as renowned chemical suppliers including Nuoer Biological, CMC, Liangjingjing New Material, and Transfar, participated in 2025 CIPTE. They showcased new energy-efficient, low-carbon, and intelligent manufacturing equipment, products, and technologies, providing innovative solutions and strong technical support for the papermaking industry, which reflects the innovative achievements in the green transformation of the papermaking sector.

Under the topic “Intelligent Manufacturing for a New Ecosystem, Green Momentum for a New Future”, the Forum features 20 reports across six core modules: Keynote Presentations, Report Releases, Industrial Chain Synergy, Intelligent Manufacturing, Green & Low-Carbon, and Market Insights. Covering the entire paper industry value chain, the Forum integrates macro trend analysis with technical insight.
2025 International Paper Technical Conference
With the theme “Frontier Technology Convergence, Green Innovation Focus”, the Conference convenes 13 global experts to explore breakthroughs in biomass energy utilization, biomass-based advanced materials, and digital intelligent technologies. Through interdisciplinary communications, the Conference aims to breath new life into global paper industry.
2025 Paper Industry Green Transition and Integrated Development Conference
Linking upstream & downstream enterprises with think tank experts, the Conference addresses three critical areas: high-quality development of academic journals; dual-carbon pathway optimization; and the application of green energy-saving equipment.
2026 CIPTE Preview
From September 16 to 18, the 2026 China International Paper Technology Exhibition (CIPTE) will be grandly held at Wuhan International Expo Center, Hubei province, China. More than 400 exhibitors from over 60 countries and more than 30,000 visitors will gather to witness the fully upgraded four exhibition zones and eight product categories.
